EMPTY DOM REMOVE PROTECTOR

The most tender cut on the animal, and it shows.

Cut two inches thick, 6–8 oz each, our hand-selected USDA Prime, grass-finished Filet Mignon delivers a level of tenderness that speaks for itself. The marbling is fine and even, the texture is buttery, and the flavor is clean and rich — the way beef tastes when the animal is raised right.

Sourced from pasture-raised, grass-finished Angus cattle raised without added hormones or antibiotics, this is beef you can feel good about serving to the people you love most.

Why you'll love our Filet Mignon:

  • Unmatched tenderness — the most luxurious cut from the whole animal
  • USDA Prime, grass-finished — exceptional marbling from cattle raised on open pasture
  • Hand-selected and dry-aged 14 days — for depth of flavor you won't find at the grocery store
  • No added hormones or antibiotics — ever

A cut this good doesn't need much. It just needs to come from the right animal.

Two per pack.

All product weights are approximate. Every cut is hand-trimmed, so natural variation in size is to be expected. Final weights may be slightly above or below the listed estimate, but our commitment to quality never changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is your beef different than grass-fed beef at the store?

Most "grass-fed" beef comes from cattle that were grain-finished in feedlots for the last 90-120 days of their lives. This completely changes the meat's nutritional profile. Our cattle eat nothing but grass from birth to processing - 100% grass-fed AND grass-finished. Plus, we provide complete transparency about our farming practices, processing methods, and individual animals.

How much freezer space do I need?

As a general rule-of-thumb, a cubic foot of freezer space holds ABOUT 30-40 pounds of packaged meat. So a quarter of a beef needs roughly 4 cubic feet, and a half beef needs roughly 8-10 cubic feet.

How do I cook grass-fed beef?

Grass-finished and grain-finished meats should be cooked using the same
methods. Grass-finished beef is leaner, which means it can reach doneness a little faster, so we recommend slightly lower heat and pulling it from the grill or pan a bit earlier.

What's your processing timeline?

Our bundle boxes ship out Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays unless it's a holiday. Please allow 4 weeks for delivery of bulk orders.

What Our Customers Say

We're extremely happy with our beef purchase. I paid at 10am on Monday morning and by 9am the next day the boxes were delivered! I'm very impressed with the size of the roasts and the overall quality of the meat. We were a little nervous to try 100% grass fed beef but the steaks were some of the best we have ever ate! We'll be repeat customers for sure!

Shawnie S. — Goodland, KS

The beef was soooo good!🔥

Ann K. — Ft. Collins, CO

I ordered their beef family box so we could try a little bit of everything. I was so excited to see that they don’t give their cattle any hormones or antibiotics. We cooked up the steaks the day after our shipment arrived and they were some of the best steaks we’ve ever had - tender, juicy and a great size! We will definitely be getting more.

Ashley — Texas

We grilled a couple pork chops from COWabunga Cattle Company, they were great!! Great flavor, juicy, and definitely filling. Recommend giving them a try.

Grady B. — Goodland, KS

I'm always on the look out to support local family business, and COWabunga Cattle Company has some good products! We got beef bratwursts and bacon. Both had good flavor and texture, we enjoyed them greatly! I also got beef tallow soap. Nice lather, moisturizing and fragrance free. I would recommend!
