The Farm Family You Can Actually Know

Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I live on a small farm near Edson, Kansas (population: small enough that everyone waves). I homeschool four kids, and my husband works as a meteorologist.

The Health Journey That Started a Farm

When I was injured in a car accident while pregnant with my second child, life changed overnight. The pain lingered long after recovery, and nothing the doctors suggested seemed to help. Out of desperation, I began learning about how food and movement affect the body — and over time, those changes brought real healing.

The Heart of COWabunga

My experience with healing using food and movement inspired COWabunga Cattle Company LLC. Our mission is simple: to share the kind of real, nourishing beef that supported my own journey back to health.

We keep our operation intentionally small, because quality and integrity matter more to us than volume. Recently, we downsized our herd to help fund this business, but we’ve partnered with another ranch that shares the same values and high standards.

Together, we’re raising beef that’s:

  • Born and raised in the USA
  • Never given hormones or antibiotics
  • Raised using regenerative practices that heal the soil and support thriving ecosystems

This isn’t large-scale agriculture. It’s families working side by side — caring for animals and restoring the land.

When you order from us, you’re not just buying beef. You’re supporting American ranches, healthier communities, and a way of life that nourishes everyone involved.
